The question is never ” What Do I Feel Like Wearing Today “, not for me at least. For me it’s more about the who and not so much about the what; the question is more like ” Who Do I Want To Be Today “. Today I wanted to be a little more Serious, and a little less Playful and I wanted to be a bit more concealed than exposed ( I am after all having a bit of a fat day ). Layer upon Layer of black clothing, textures that both add structure and drama. The only color I choose to include was a metal and a the tan in both my Shawl worn as an oversized scarf and in my Hemp and Leather wedges. As pure as it’s concept was it’s inspiration which was obviously Mary-Kate and Ashley inspired.
(Trendy Wendy pale pink heart shaped glasses, Anne Taylor blazer, floral ruffle detail romper, Sam Edelman wedges, vintage red and gold clutch)
As we approach the end of our first summer season by ourselves we’re just glad to see the beginnings of Fall with it’s first overcast skies. Bringing our summer looks to an end (and hopefully the sunshine, for we’re not as excited about it as the locals are…) we cannot wait to evolve into Autumn attire and layering everything, all the time.
