Layering has been an engrossing topic that’s been fresh in our minds lately and given this erratic weather we’re jumping at every opportunity to capture the moment and latch what we believe is appropriate. An oversized F21 floral lace long sleeve gently covered by one of my favourite Goodwill finds, the knit black turtle neck poncho (that I cannot wait to fully take advantage of in the upcoming seasons); alas for hidden detail these black high-waisted Zara leggings.

As the old saying goes, when life gives you lemons….make lemonade. I’ve been so eager to whip out all of my Fall/Winter attire that when given the chance with mere 65 degree weather I take full advantage and work with what I can without looking completely ridiculous. The mention of the upcoming seasons seems to give mostly every Seattlite I’ve spoken to a chill down their spine, yet I still anticipate it. Being as it is mid july I thought I’d add some contrast to my all black ensemble with a little sparkle and shine with my wood wedged silver gladiator sandals and white Gucci bag.
